How to play Golf Solitaire

Choose a round of Golf Solitaire and settle into its rules. Remove all 35 tableau cards. Check the relevant rule before repeating a move. Choose a comfortable screen position before beginning. Choose a clear next step rather than rushing through the instructions.

Remove all 35 tableau cards. Use the instructions to see which actions move you towards it. Follow this game’s rules rather than another version’s.

Step by step

1. Take an exposed bottom card one rank above or below the waste top, allowing ace–king wrapping.
2. Click an exposed card or eligible pair to remove it.
3. Draw when useful.
4. Undo reverses a choice. New deal shuffles again.

Controls

Click or tap cards and piles. Wide tableaus scroll inside the game; use Undo, Hint and New deal where shown. Read a button’s label before selecting it. Use one clear input at a time.

Random deals are not guaranteed solvable. A hint is a legal move, not a winning strategy. A different version of the game may use a different rule. Before your first action, say what you are trying to achieve. Then compare the result with the goal.
